Smooth Touch Landscaping

About Smooth Touch Landscaping

Early on a July morning, walkers on the Gulf Stream beach step around the little stakes that mark sea turtle nests, and the dunes behind them are knitted together by sea grape and native grasses. That same light-handed spirit suits the yards just inland, where Smooth Touch Landscaping trims and shapes with patience instead of force. A sea grape hedge cut back gently keeps its broad round leaves; a bougainvillea pruned with care keeps its blaze of magenta; a lawn edged by an unhurried hand meets the path in one unbroken line. Coastal plants spend their lives bracing against salt and wind, and they answer kindly to a gentle approach. What remains is a garden at ease with itself, as if the breeze itself had done the tidying.
