About Stars & Stripes Lawn Services

Morning comes up off the St. Johns in a low white haze, and the mowers are already rolling out over the brick streets of Green Cove Springs. Stars & Stripes Lawn Services keeps the yards of this river town cut clean through the long green heat, when St. Augustine grass grows faster than anyone can plan for. Mow, edge, trim the fence lines, blow the clippings off the walk — a yard finished all the way announces itself from the road. Summer here rewards a steady schedule more than any burst of effort, and that steadiness is what gets left behind on street after street. By the time the heat sets hard at noon the route is behind them and the grass is standing straight.
