About North Florida Sod Services

New houses keep coming up on the sand out toward the highway, and for a stretch each one sits on bare graded ground waiting for something green. North Florida Sod Services works that transition around Green Cove Springs — laying sod over prepared ground, running the seams tight, watering it in, then keeping the finished lawn mowed, edged and trimmed while it knits down. St. Augustine takes hold quickly here when the water is right, and a patchy lawn can often be repaired in sections instead of replaced whole. Beds and borders get cleaned up so the new turf has a line to meet. A few weeks on, the seams vanish and it simply looks like a lawn that was always there.
