Marty's Lawn Service

About Marty's Lawn Service

Every route in a small town turns into a kind of clock: this street on Tuesday, that cul-de-sac after lunch, the same wave from the same porch each week. Marty's Lawn Service keeps that clock running in Green Cove Springs — mowing, edging, line trimming, hedge trimming and blowing off the drives, one yard and then the next. Growth around here never really quits, so the calendar rarely gets a full week off between March and October. In the cooler stretch the work turns to cleanup, cutback and keeping the beds honest. The pleasure of a route is watching the same lawn improve month over month simply because nobody ever let it fall behind.
