Gainesville's live oaks shed in spring rather than fall, a slow brown drift through March that settles on every lawn under the canopy. Mr Tree and Lawn Service works beneath those big crowns — mowing and edging, trimming the shrub lines, raking and blowing out the leaf and limb litter, and hauling the pile away so the yard starts clean again. Canopy neighborhoods ask more of a lawn crew than open ones do; there is always something coming down. Finishing a shaded lot so the grass shows even and the beds are clear is the part that makes the drive home easy. The route runs across Gainesville and out to Alachua and Newberry.
