Clayton’s lawn service

About Clayton’s lawn service

Early, before Lake Griffin gives up its fog, the grass in Fruitland Park is silver with dew and the first pass leaves a dark track behind it. Clayton's lawn service keeps that hour — mowing, edging, trimming around mailbox posts and air conditioner pads, then the blower sending the cuttings back into the beds where they belong. By the time heat begins standing up off the asphalt, a whole street of yards is done and gone quiet again. There is a plain pleasure in a lawn that looks like somebody paid attention to it: even height, honest lines, corners that were not guessed at. Week to week the schedule holds, and so does the shape.
