Island Home Service

About Island Home Service

November on Estero Island: the water runs clear through Matanzas Pass, the wind swings around to the north, and the seasonal houses begin opening one shutter at a time. Island Home Service has the yards ready before the keys turn — turf mowed and edged, sand and leaf litter blown off the drive, palms and hedges trimmed back to shape, beds weeded so the entry reads crisp on arrival day. Between visits those properties stay on a route, because a lawn on the island does not pause for anyone's calendar. Cut material leaves with the crew. Fort Myers Beach houses and mainland Fort Myers yards are kept the same way: ready, not merely mowed.
