Omega's Lawn Services

About Omega's Lawn Services

The last house on the route is its own kind of pleasure — engine off, the Sistrunk-side streets going quiet, mockingbirds running through their whole repertoire in a gumbo limbo. Omega's Lawn Services works the Dorsey-Riverbend blocks and the ones spreading out from them, where lawns are modest and pride in them is not. Mow, edge, trim the corners, level the hedges, sweep the walk, carry the clippings off in the truck. Fort Lauderdale grass grows through December as happily as through July, so the calendar matters more than the weather forecast. Walking away from a yard with straight borders and a clean drive, with the light going amber over the rooftops, is a good place to end an afternoon.
