A Good Lawn Man

About A Good Lawn Man

Before the sun clears the rooftops in Croissant Park, dew still beads along every blade and the air is briefly cool enough to lean into. That is when A Good Lawn Man begins — mower first, then the trimmer down the fence line, then the edge cut clean where turf meets sidewalk. Grass here never truly stops growing, so the work is a loop rather than a season, and the aim of each visit is a yard that looks decided rather than merely cut. Clippings blown off the walk, hedge faces squared, the strip by the mailbox tidy enough that a neighbor notices without knowing why. One house at a time, across the streets of Fort Lauderdale's south side.
