About Rene Gonzalez Lawn Services

By two in the afternoon in the wet season, the thunderheads stack up over the groves east of Fort Denaud and everyone starts watching the sky. Rene Gonzalez Lawn Services reads that clock the way growers do: cut early, finish clean, be off the grass before the rain writes its own version of the day. Between State Road 78 and the cane flats this is lawn work at its plainest, mowing, edging, string-trimming the fence line and blowing the walks bare. Grass comes back fast here after a storm, so the route swings around again before a yard can get ahead of itself. What's left is a lawn that looks intentional in a landscape that otherwise does exactly as it pleases.
