Eustis Lawn

About Eustis Lawn

Every February the town fills up for Georgefest and the whole of Eustis is on display, which is as good a reason as any to keep a yard looking like somebody tends it. Eustis Lawn carries the town's name and the plain work that goes with it: mowing on a set schedule, edging walks and drives, trimming fence lines and tree rings, blowing the hard surfaces down. Winter is the easy stretch here, the bahia slow and the mornings cool enough for a jacket; summer is the sprint. Both get the same finish. A lawn that's been kept all year shows it in February, when the light comes in low and every edge throws its own small shadow.
