Combat Lawn Care

About Combat Lawn Care

Seven in the morning along Oyster Creek, and the dew is still heavy enough to hang on the blades of grass like a second lawn. Combat Lawn Care starts there, mowing and trimming while the air is bearable, working the cul-de-sacs before the sun climbs over the pines. St. Augustine turf takes a cut best when it is handled with a sharp blade and a light hand, and a lawn mowed at the right height in the right direction shows it in the stripes. The trimming line follows the mailbox post, the light pole, the base of every palm, and then the blower clears the walk back to bare concrete. By the time the neighborhood is properly awake the truck is two streets on. Discipline like that, kept up week after week, is what a yard remembers.
