BLOOM

About BLOOM

Egypt Lake keeps its water tucked in behind the houses, a bright patch of blue between oak-shaded blocks, and on a spring morning the whole neighborhood smells like cut grass and citrus blossom. BLOOM works those streets with the plain lawn routine: mowing, string trimming, edging the walks and driveway, then clearing everything off so nothing is left sitting on the concrete. Jets climb out of Tampa International overhead all day long; down here the pace is slower, measured in blocks finished. Grass on this side of Hillsborough County runs nine months hard, so a steady weekly cut is what keeps a yard even instead of ragged. There is genuine pleasure in watching a street come back to one straight green line, a lawn at a time.
