About Southern Turf

Noon in an Edgewater midsummer is heat shimmer coming off the asphalt, cicadas sawing away in the oaks, and grass that loves every minute of it. Bahia and the thicker lawns run hard from June through September down here, which means real cutting rather than a light trim. Southern Turf keeps up with the weekly mowing, edges the walks and drives, trims what a mower cannot reach, and clears the clippings before pulling out. Cut at the right height, a lawn holds its color through the worst of the heat and shrugs off the afternoon downpour. That is the whole ambition: a yard that looks the same good way in August as it did in March.
