The Grass Guy

About The Grass Guy

Head north out of East Milton toward the Jay farmland and the lots open up, bahia running coarse and green across acre after acre. The Grass Guy handles that kind of ground as readily as a small in-town yard — big-lot mowing, edging where there is something to edge, trimming fence lines, and clearing the growth that crowds a driveway. Grass is the whole subject here, and knowing how each type wants to be cut is most of the trade. The good part is standing at the road afterward and seeing an acre laid down flat and even, with the fence line clean all the way to the corner post. Wide country, well mowed, is its own kind of handsome.
