About Lumbee Tree Care LLC

Every spring, DeLand's live oaks shed a whole year of leaves in a few short weeks and push out new ones almost at once, so the sidewalks near Stetson University turn briefly gold underfoot. Lumbee Tree Care LLC spends that season under the Spanish moss, tending trees whose limbs reach across driveways and rooflines and keeping the lawns beneath them mowed, edged and clear of leaf litter. In a town where the canopy is half the architecture, tree care is patient, upward-looking work. Glance up on a clear afternoon and you might catch parachutes drifting toward the airport; glance down and you'll find a yard with clean lines and room to breathe. That second view is the one Lumbee leaves behind.
