Southern Stripes Lawn & Maintenance

About Southern Stripes Lawn & Maintenance

Late in the day the light over DeFuniak Springs goes long and gold across the old porches and picket fences, and a fresh-cut yard shows every band of it. That is the whole idea behind Southern Stripes Lawn & Maintenance — mowing laid down in alternating passes, so a lawn reads like corduroy from the front steps. Edges are cut sharp along the sidewalk and the drive, trimming goes in tight under the crepe myrtles and the camellia hedges, and every clipping is blown back off the concrete before the truck pulls away. Beds get their border redrawn, shrubs get shaped, and the autumn drift of leaves is gathered and hauled out. Some yards just want to be tidy; these ones want to be tidy and a little bit proud.
