About SOS Smith Outdoor services LLC

In July the thunderheads build over the longleaf country east of town, and the whole afternoon turns into a race. SOS Smith Outdoor services LLC runs the mowers out ahead of the rain. Wet Walton County grass moves fast — bahia and centipede pushing an inch overnight — so the cut arrives on schedule, week after week through the long green stretch of the year. Trimmer around the pines, blower down the driveway, hedges taken back off the porch rail. Out past US 331 toward Mossy Head the yards run wide and sandy, and in town they sit small and close together; both get the same finish. When the storm finally comes through, it falls on grass that has already been laid down straight.
