About Green Happens Landscaping

There is a week in March when everything in Walton County turns yellow with pine pollen and then, almost overnight, turns green. Green Happens Landscaping starts its season on that hinge, back into DeFuniak Springs yards with mowers, trimmers and a plan for beds that spent the winter filling with needles. First cuts of the year are the most satisfying kind — the ragged winter growth comes off, the line along the sidewalk gets redrawn, and the shape of a yard reappears. From there it is steady weekly work through a growing season that runs long down here. By June the lawns look like someone has been paying attention since spring, because someone has.
