About Vanic's Landscaping

Beachside soil is mostly sand and old coquina, and the wind that comes over the dune line carries salt onto everything that grows in it. Vanic's Landscaping works with that instead of against it, shaping beds where sea grape, palmetto and firebush can take the exposure, then mulching them so the sand holds a little water overnight. Afternoons, when the sea breeze finally turns and cools the streets off Seabreeze Boulevard, the mowers go out and the hedges get squared. A planting bed with a crisp cut edge and a palm trimmed of its brown fronds changes a whole house front — that is the part worth doing well. From the peninsula across to the mainland, Vanic's keeps Daytona Beach yards planted, cut and looking cared for.
