About Davenport Green LLC

November takes the humidity out of Polk County and leaves a long gold afternoon, the kind that lies flat across the bahia on the road shoulders and flatters every lawn in town. Davenport Green LLC works into that light, mowing, running the edger down the walk, trimming around posts and palms, then blowing the paths clean. Growth slows in the dry months, so the job leans toward tidiness: crisp borders, leaves out of the beds, nothing left to soften the shape of a yard. When the rains return, the same lawns come back thick and fast and the route tightens up again. The town's name rides on the truck, so the work has to look like the town at its best.
