Dickie's Lawn Service

About Dickie's Lawn Service

Off the county roads outside Crystal River the yards run big and open, mostly bahia over pale ground, the kind of grass that shrugs at heat and throws stubborn seed stalks by June. Dickie's Lawn Service keeps those acres in order — mowing, string trimming the fence lines, edging the drive, clearing the clippings off the porch steps. It is plain work done properly: one pass, then the next, until the whole place sits flat and even in the sun. The smell of cut grass off a big Citrus County lot is its own payment, and so is a mailbox with a clean circle around it. Crystal River and the roads that lead out of it.
