Anything Under the Sun

About Anything Under the Sun

In June the sun sits nearly straight overhead at noon and Royal Palm Boulevard runs bright between its palms. Anything Under the Sun takes the name at its word: mowing and edging, hedges and shrubs, palm trimming, mulch, bed cleanups, and hauling off whatever is left. Summer in Coral Springs is generous to the point of unruly, everything green doubling on itself, so the job turns from coaxing into shaping. There is real satisfaction in leaving a yard tight at four in the afternoon, right before the sky goes purple and lets go. Come the weekend it still looks intentional, and that is the measure of it.
