The Yardman

About The Yardman

Saturday morning in Clair Mel smells like cut grass, two-stroke smoke and somebody's coffee out on a carport. The Yardman moves through it the plain way — mow, edge, trim, blow — hedges brought back to a shape, the bahiagrass along the ditch line knocked down, the walkway left swept. Nothing exotic in the toolkit, just four moves done in order and carried all the way into the corners. What lasts is the look of a yard where every line was a decision, right down to where the sod meets the pavement. Homes across Clair Mel, Palm River and over into Brandon.
