Meadowbrook Acres

About Meadowbrook Acres

Cattle egrets have Center Hill figured out: when a mower starts up near the pastures, they drift over and follow it, picking off the grasshoppers it stirs from the grass. Meadowbrook Acres works in that open country, where the land runs out toward distant tree lines and a yard can feel as big as the sky above it. The job is lawn care with room to breathe, cutting wide stretches of grass flat and trimming around gates, posts and outbuildings. As the sun drops and the heat finally lets go, fresh-cut grass gives off that sweet, green smell that carries across the property. Long shadows, white birds, a lawn laid down clean: that is an evening in Center Hill.
