Checo Stump Grinding

About Checo Stump Grinding

Celebration was drawn on paper with its trees already in it, street after street of crape myrtle and magnolia and oak, planted on purpose and grown into something real. Checo Stump Grinding keeps those plantings in line, trimming crowns up off sidewalks and porch rails and taking out the tree that has failed or outgrown a narrow planting strip. The stump grinding is the finish that matters in a town this tidy: ground below grade, the hole backfilled, sod set so that a week later nobody can point to where it was. Work here happens with neighbors out on their front porches, which is a fine reason to sweep the walk twice. On a warm evening with the fountain running and the streets full of bicycles, that is the whole job — nothing out of place.
