About Top Notch Landscaping

A ficus hedge in Southwest Florida will grow a foot in a summer month and then lean out over the sidewalk like it owns it, so somebody has to decide where the top belongs. Top Notch Landscaping makes that call along the Chiquita and Skyline blocks — hedges cut level, faces plumb, corners squared, the whole run sighted from one end before the shears come out. Around that goes the mowing and edging, the trimming, the mulch in the beds and the sweep-up that takes the trimmings away. Winter here is dry and generous, ideal for reshaping what summer let run; the rainy months are for keeping up. Standing at the curb afterward and seeing a straight green line for a hundred feet is the payoff.
