F & S Lawncare

About F & S Lawncare

First light in Callahan is a wet thing. Dew stands on every blade until the sun lifts over the pines out toward Thomas Creek, and the whole town smells like warm sand and resin. F & S Lawncare works the early end of the day, mowing while the air is still bearable and the ground gives a little underfoot. Edges are cut in along walks and beds, the trimmer takes the corners a deck can never reach, and the hard surfaces are cleared before the crew rolls on. It is unglamorous work and it is the reason a yard on a Nassau County back road can look, on a Tuesday in June, like somebody loves it.
