Betz It's Green

About Betz It's Green

By late June the storms keep a schedule, building over the Gulf in the early afternoon and rolling inland across Brooksville behind a wall of cool air. St. Augustine turf drinks it in and turns a color no dry-season lawn can hold, and Betz It's Green is out the next morning taking that growth back down while it still stands tall. The work is mowing and edging, feeding and weed control, hedge trimming, and keeping sprinkler heads clear of the grass forever trying to swallow them. Turf on this sandy ground greens up quickly and thins out quicker, so the answer is regular attention rather than heroics. Brooksville, Spring Hill and the lanes running west toward Weeki Wachee all fit inside the week.
