Royal Roots

About Royal Roots

Come October the muhly grass along the roads east of Bradenton throws up its pink haze, and for a few weeks the whole county looks like it is gently smoking. Royal Roots works those newer neighborhoods out toward Lakewood Ranch, where the sod is young and the beds are still deciding what they want to be. Mowing, edging, trimming, weed control in the turf, mulch and shrub shaping — ordinary things, done on a rhythm the grass can count on. What happens under the ground decides what shows above it, which is the whole idea in the name. Give a lawn a few honest seasons of attention and it stops looking new and starts looking rooted.
