Aloha Lawn Service

About Aloha Lawn Service

Out where Manatee Avenue runs west and finally gives up its shops for water, Palma Sola Bay throws the light back twice — once down from the sky, once up off the shallows. Aloha Lawn Service works those blocks the way the tide works the shore: on schedule, without hurry, leaving the grass in an even nap you feel underfoot before you notice it with your eyes. Mowing, edging, string trimming and a full blow-down make the shape of the week, week after week. St. Augustine grass runs hard in this salt air, and holding it in line takes a steady wrist rather than a heavy one. By late afternoon, when the wind comes across the causeway and the palms start talking, the yard looks less finished than simply well-behaved — as though it had grown that way on purpose.
