South Florida Terra Systems

About South Florida Terra Systems

Dig a hole west of Military Trail and Boynton Beach tells on itself: pale sand, then marl, then the old rock the whole coast rests on, with a drainage canal running ruler-straight somewhere close by. South Florida Terra Systems begins from that ground up, which is what lawn care here really amounts to — cutting at a height the sand can carry, edging clean against concrete, keeping beds free of what every wet season sends up. At midday in the dry months the light is hard and honest, and it shows every line the work leaves behind. Sod laid to a level grade, shrubs trimmed to shape, turf mowed on a rotation steady enough that nothing ever gets away. Routes run from the farm country at the western edge back east to the older streets near Federal Highway, and on into Delray Beach, Wellington and Lake Worth Beach.
