Much of Bonita Springs is stitched together by water — canals, lake edges, little curves of bank where an egret stands still enough to be mistaken for a post. Veneto Landscaping tends the yards that run down to those edges: mowing, edging, trimming along seawalls and fence lines, shaping shrubs, refreshing mulch, carrying off the clippings. Grass grows right to the waterline here, so the finish of a lawn is a boundary somebody has to cut by hand. In November, with the humidity gone and the sky opening wide at dusk, a lawn cut that way looks like it belongs to the ground it sits on. Bonita Springs and the surrounding towns make up the route.
