Sharp Yards

About Sharp Yards

There is a moment on a mild Bellview December afternoon when the edger bites down along a driveway and a whole season's creeping St. Augustine falls away in one dark ribbon, leaving a line you could sight down. Sharp Yards is built around that moment. Mowing sets the plane, trimming handles what the deck can't, but the edge is the drawing — it is what the eye follows from the street. Down here the grass keeps reaching for the concrete nearly all year, so the line has to be earned again on every visit. Earning it, and blowing the walk clean behind it, is the work in a nutshell.
