DLS Lawn Service

About DLS Lawn Service

Early at Mary Holland Park the Peace River carries a thin sheet of mist, and the air is still cool enough that grass cuts clean instead of tearing. DLS Lawn Service starts its Bartow days in that hour, when the dew has not lifted and the mockingbirds are running through the whole catalog. The yards nearby take a light hand, a high blade in July when the rain will not stop, a closer cut through the dry stretch, string trimming around every mailbox post and oak trunk. Then the edge, drawn along walk and drive until the line runs unbroken, and the loose clippings put back into the turf where they belong. There is a particular satisfaction in leaving a street where each finished lawn hands off to the next.
