About Davis Lawn Services

On East Stanford Street the live oaks arch far enough over the pavement that light comes down in coins, and every March they let go of last year's leaves all at once. Davis Lawn Services knows those weeks, when yards go tan with oak litter and catkins and mowing is half cutting, half hauling the canopy's leavings off the St. Augustine before it smothers. Shade lawns get their own treatment here, blade raised, passes slowed, thin patches given room to fill rather than scalped. Around porch steps and picket corners the trimmer reaches what no deck can. By afternoon the moss is hanging dead still, and the grass underneath looks like somebody finally paid attention.
