About Anna Maria Landscaping

On a dry-season morning the fields around Ave Maria hold their fog until the sun burns it off, and sandhill cranes step out of it onto the wet grass like they own the place. Anna Maria Landscaping starts in that hour, when the town is quiet and the Oratory is still only a shape against a gray sky. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, worked block by block through streets that were farm ground not many years back. The sky out here is enormous and the horizon sits low, so a cleanly cut lawn reads from a hundred yards off. That long view is exactly why the edges get the extra minute.
