About Burts Lawn Services

On Lake Mattie the evening sky goes copper and the wind lays flat, and the yards near the shore hold that light like they were built for it. Burts Lawn Services works toward that hour — cutting, edging, trimming fence lines and clearing clippings so a property looks finished as the day cools. Polk County grass runs hard through the wet months and settles slowly through the dry ones, so the schedule bends without ever stopping. The reward is small and repeatable: a straight seam where lawn meets driveway, and a place that plainly had somebody by this week. Around here that is what a cared-for yard sounds like at sundown — nothing at all.
