About Rockaway, Inc.

September on this coast is a watchful month; the surf comes up, the sky goes low, and a blow off the Atlantic can strip a yard of fronds and branches overnight. Rockaway, Inc. does the mowing, edging and trimming that fills the ordinary weeks, and the cleanup that follows the loud ones — debris off the turf, beds cleared, walks blown, the property set back in order. Coquina and shell run through the ground in Atlantic Beach, and the grass grows over it anyway. So does the routine. Storm or no storm, the next cut comes when it is supposed to.
