About All In The Details

Aripeka is an old fishing village on the Gulf, where tidal creeks wind through needlerush and the marsh shifts color with each tide. All In The Details lives up to its name in yards here, where salt air and sandy ground reward close attention: grass cut at the proper height, borders run sharp along the drive, every stray runner trimmed back. The early hours are the loveliest, mist lifting off Hammock Creek and herons stalking the shallows while the first pass of the mower goes down. Summer grass still races in the coastal heat, and keeping a lawn by the water neat comes down to small things done every visit. In a village this quiet, a carefully kept yard is a detail everyone passing by can see.
