Agriscape Sod Service

About Agriscape Sod Service

Out along State Road 70 the sod fields lie flat and improbably green, a floor of grass running clear to the tree line. Agriscape Sod Service works in that world — grading, hauling and laying turf so a bare yard in Arcadia can be a lawn by suppertime. Most people never see the craft in it: the ground brought true, each piece butted tight so the seams vanish, water in before the afternoon sun can find a dry edge. Two weeks on, the rows have knitted together; a month on, no one can tell where the pallets stopped. DeSoto County sand takes grass beautifully when it's handled with patience, and that patience is the whole job.
