About Sandy's Lawn Services Inc

Morning arrives twice on the north end of Anna Maria Island — once over Tampa Bay, once off the Gulf — and Sandy's Lawn Services Inc works in both lights. Island yards live on salt air and shifting sand, so mowing here means knowing which strips of turf take the wind and which stay soft in the shade of the sea grapes. The mower runs the side streets off Pine Avenue and out toward Bean Point, where the sand begins and a lawn has to know exactly where to stop. Hedges get shaped so a porch keeps its view, edges get cut clean along the walks, and the clippings are gone before the golf carts come through. It is small, sun-bright work, and a trimmed island block holds its own against all that horizon.
