About Wayne Golden's Lawn Care

Late in the day the light along the river turns the color of dry hay, and every blade of a fresh-cut lawn catches a little of it. Wayne Golden's Lawn Care works toward that hour in Alva — mowing through the day, edging walks and drives, trimming close around posts, palms and bed borders, and taking the debris off the hard surfaces before the sun drops behind the oaks. Winter here brings cool mornings and slow growth; summer brings rain and grass that needs cutting almost before the truck has pulled away. Both get the same treatment, just on different clocks. A yard kept up all year never has to be rescued.
