About Turf Tech Professional Lawn Maintenance LLC.

Altoona sits with the Ocala National Forest at its back door, and the ground here is more sand than soil — quick to drain, slow to forgive. Turf Tech Professional Lawn Maintenance LLC works that ground on its own terms: mowing at the height a Florida lawn actually wants in August, edging the drive so the line reads sharp against pale sand, keeping shrubs back off the walk. Under longleaf and sand pine the light falls in pieces, and a yard needs a different touch in that broken shade than it does out in the open by the road. Afternoon storms build up over SR 19 and the grass answers by putting on an inch overnight, so the mower comes back before the yard can get ahead of anyone. Small work, done all the way through, on a road where the forest starts across the fence.
