Platform Disclaimer

⚠ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

SnowLawn is a technology platform that ONLY facilitates transactions between Customers and independent Service Providers. SnowLawn does NOT provide lawn care, snow removal, or any other services directly. SnowLawn assumes NO guaranty, warranty, or liability for any services performed by Providers.

1. SnowLawn Is a Marketplace Facilitator Only

SnowLawn provides a technology platform that connects Customers seeking lawn care and snow removal services with independent Service Providers who offer those services. SnowLawn's role is strictly limited to:

  • Providing a marketplace for Customers and Providers to connect
  • Facilitating booking and scheduling
  • Processing payments between parties
  • Providing communication tools
  • Offering real-time tracking features

SnowLawn does not employ, supervise, direct, or control any Service Provider. All Providers are independent contractors who operate their own businesses.

2. No Guaranty of Service Quality

SnowLawn makes NO guaranty, express or implied, regarding:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Providers
  • The truth or accuracy of Provider listings, descriptions, or qualifications
  • The ability of Providers to complete services as described
  • The timeliness of service delivery
  • The outcome or result of any service performed
  • Provider insurance, licensing, or certification validity

3. No Liability for Services

SNOWLAWN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SERVICES PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, INCOMPLETE OR UNSATISFACTORY WORK, DAMAGE TO LANDSCAPE, PLANTS, OR STRUCTURES, EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION, WEATHER-RELATED ISSUES, DELAYS OR FAILURE TO PERFORM, THEFT, TRESPASS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES, AND ANY OTHER LOSS HOWSOEVER CAUSED.

4. Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Selecting a Provider based on their own due diligence
  • Reviewing Provider ratings, reviews, and qualifications
  • Verifying Provider insurance and licensing independently if desired
  • Inspecting completed work and raising concerns directly with the Provider
  • Maintaining adequate homeowner's insurance coverage
  • Ensuring the service address is accurate and accessible
  • Marking and disclosing any known hazards on the property

5. Provider Responsibility

Service Providers are solely responsible for:

  • Providing services in a professional and safe manner
  • Maintaining proper insurance coverage for their business
  • Holding all required licenses and permits
  • Complying with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Accurate representation of their services, qualifications, and pricing
  • Tax compliance — Providers are responsible for their own taxes
  • Any claims, damages, or injuries arising from their work

6. Platform Provided "As Is"

The SnowLawn Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
  • Accuracy of GPS tracking or location data

7. Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnowLawn's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount of platform fees you have paid to SnowLawn in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall SnowLawn be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Insurance Disclaimer

While SnowLawn may display insurance or licensing information provided by Providers, SnowLawn does NOT independently verify this information. Customers should independently verify a Provider's insurance, licensing, and bonding status before engaging their services.

9. No Background Checks

SnowLawn does NOT perform background checks, criminal history checks, sex offender registry checks, identity verification, drug testing, or any other screening on any user of the Platform — whether Customer or Provider. SnowLawn does not verify that any Provider is who they claim to be or is qualified to perform any services.

You use the Platform and engage with other users entirely at your own risk. SnowLawn strongly recommends that Customers exercise their own judgment and conduct independent research before inviting any Provider onto their property. You should ask Providers directly about their qualifications, references, insurance, and any other information relevant to your hiring decision.

10. Weather & Force Majeure

SnowLawn is not responsible for service delays, cancellations, or quality issues caused by severe weather, natural disasters, pandemic, government restrictions, or other events beyond reasonable control. Service scheduling and completion are subject to weather conditions, and neither SnowLawn nor Providers guarantee service availability during extreme conditions.

11. Disputes Between Users

SnowLawn is not a party to any agreement or dispute between Customers and Providers. While we may offer tools to facilitate communication and may mediate disputes at our sole discretion, we are under no obligation to resolve any dispute. Any dispute regarding the quality, timing, or outcome of services must be resolved directly between the Customer and Provider.

12. User Acknowledgment

By using the SnowLawn Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer. You understand that SnowLawn is a transaction facilitator only, and you accept full responsibility for your interactions with other users of the Platform.
