About Martin's Landscaping

Spring arrives in Brandywine Hundred a little late and then all at once: one week the woods above the blue granite ledges are gray, the next they are a green so new it looks wet. Martin's Landscaping begins its year right there — beds cleared of winter's litter, mulch laid dark against the shrubs, the first pass that wakes a lawn out of dormancy. Summer settles into a weekly rhythm of mowing, edging and trimming, with fertilizer and weed control keeping the turf a step ahead of the crabgrass. Autumn turns the whole hundred to copper, and after that it is leaves, leaves, and the last cut of the year. A yard tended this way holds its shape from thaw to hard frost.
