Brandywine Tree & Shrub

About Brandywine Tree & Shrub

Above the Brandywine the land finally stops being flat — it rolls, it climbs, it drops into a creek valley lined with tulip poplars and old fieldstone walls laid by hands nobody remembers. Brandywine Tree & Shrub keeps lawns in that hill country, where a yard may run downhill into the treeline and no two properties meet the sun at the same angle. Cutting on a grade is its own discipline: read the slope, work across it, leave the passes running true anyway. April means cleanups and fresh mulch banked against the stone, midsummer means steady mowing and edging, and late fall means leaves by the truckload, because the poplars and beeches here are generous with them. The reward is that first look back from the road, when the whole grade reads clean from top to bottom.
