About MDLC

Selbyville ends at a line nobody can see — the Maryland boundary running right past the edge of town, where a Delaware yard and a Maryland yard can share the same hedge. MDLC mows on both sides of it, out where the houses thin into fields and the sky takes up most of the view. October is the honest month here: growth slows, leaves come down off the maples, and mowing turns into as much clearing as cutting. Trimming and edging hold the borders sharp while the color goes out of everything else. A lawn cut carefully late in the year keeps its shape all the way through the cold months.
