About RakeNTake landscape

Downriver from Seaford, the little cable ferry at Woodland still swings across the Nanticoke, and by October the tulip poplars on both banks have started letting go. RakeNTake landscape takes that season for what it is: rakes and tarps, blowers, the slow clearing of a yard until the grass underneath comes back into view. Through the growing months it is mowing, edging and trimming on a steady weekly turn, lines laid straight down the long flat lots Sussex County hands you. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the light goes copper over the fields and a lawn that was ankle-deep in leaves reads clean again. Seaford, Blades, Woodland and Bridgeville — same river, same sandy ground, one yard at a time.
