Newark sits right where the rolling Piedmont ground gives way to the sandy flat of the coastal plain, and you can read that seam in the soil from one street to the next. Delaware Valley Turf works along it — regular cutting, edging, trimming, overseeding the thin spots, feeding the lawn through the growing months. April is when everything shows: one warm stretch of rain, and the turf either answers or it does not.
